SYMPTOMS
When user want to create a pdb snapshot, he encountered the following error:
SQL> ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE SNAPSHOT testsnap;
ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE SNAPSHOT testsnap
*
An error occurred on line 1. :
ORA-12754: feature PDB SNAPSHOT CAROUSEL has been disabled because it has no feature
CHANGES
CAUSE
From the following manual,
The PDB Snapshot Carousel is feature is only available for EE-ES (Exadata with Extra cost option),
and Cloud Platform: DBCS EE, DBCS EE-HP, DBCS EE-EP, and ExaCS.
